‘Plug in and play’ LED-based screens launched
Lloyds Pharmacy has announced that it will soon install screens incorporating LED technology.
The company has teamed up with Amscreen to supply the LED-based boards to pharmacies in Oxford and Birmingham.
Up to 15 screens will be installed in outlets and are hoped to boost revenue through product advertising.
In addition, health tips such as checking blood pressure and news on free diabetes tests will be displayed on the boards.
The screens have the advantage that they are mobile as they can be plugged in where pharmacies see fit.
Simon Sugar, chief executive of the company, stated that LED technology can benefit businesses.
“We believe digital signage technology has great potential to create additional revenue streams for a range of brands and retailers,” he said.
“With screens that simply just plug into a power socket, customers can now control their own media in real-time.”
Research from Adflow suggests that digital signs increase the likelihood of impulse buys when displayed in retail outlets.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
