Overhead LED displays are a key feature in the new Destination store just opened in Athens

A leading phone supplier in Greece launched a totally new type of landmark store in December at ‘The Mall Athens’ and a central feature of this bright, open, and modern shop are the dynamic full colour displays designed and installed by Andover based LED Synergy that direct and entice visitors to the various parts of the store.

The innovative digital screens and special marks highlight the different commercial areas of the store that include devices, accessories, operating systems, applications, and technical support and service. Special arrangements have also been included for children, with a designated creative activities and fun games area.

The first store of its kind globally for Vodafone, the Mall Athens offers a unique experience to those wanting information on the products and services and according to Glafkos Persianis, president and managing director of Vodafone Greece, “The Vodafone@The Mall Athens is another indication of the commitment of Vodafone towards Greece and the Greek economy.”

“Each of the displays were fabricated in the UK and then driven out by road by the installation team to ensure they arrived in time for the launch event and were all installed without issue,” explained Jeremy Harwood of LED Synergy. “Another key feature of the project was the attention to detail taken in developing the graphics that are now running on dynamic displays to ensure they provide maximum impact.”

The store opening was featured on Greek television and has been widely reported in the Greek media. It is also staffed by experts, and is generally regarded as a store you just want to go to for a look at the latest devices and is expected to be the blueprint for future Vodafone stores.
