Water Park To Use LED Message Signs On High Speed Slides!
We love coming across really interesting and innovative uses for LED message signs – it’s true that no matter what business you run or what industry you’re in, you’ll be able to put these electronic displays to excellent use. You’ve just got to think outside the box, that’s all!
And we’ve just come across this article on the Hertfordshire Mercury website about the new Coral Reef Waterworld park that’s nearing completion in Bracknell in Berkshire, which will apparently feature some of these LED signs to help make rides even more fun for eager thrill-seekers.
Apparently, The Cannon high speed water slide will feature an LED screen at the bottom of the slide so that people can see their times and their top speeds… introducing an element of competition into going down the 67m slide. People can either try to beat their own times and speeds, or challenge friends and family to a joust!
An exact opening date for the park is yet to be confirmed by Bracknell Forest Council, but officials have said that it’ll be open some time this month (September) – and with just a week to go, fingers crossed it opens soon.
Here at LEDsynergy, we recently worked alongside Speller Metcalfe to help revamp the Perdiswell Leisure Centre in Worcester, installing full colour LED video screens that can be used to display health and safety info, as well as being used as a competition scoreboard… so we know what we’re doing when it comes to swimming pools and LEDs!
If you have a similar project to this in mind, make sure you get in touch with us today.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
