Stadium gets LED boards
A major ballpark in the US is being refurbished with four LED boards.
The Rangers Ballpark, in Arlington, Texas, was recently updated with a variety of LED screens to help improve the viewing experience of spectators.
Three new screens have been incorporated into the stadium to display scores.
The boards measure a combined total of 1,276-feet in length and are among the longest screens found in US ballparks.
In addition, the venue is receiving an LED screen measuring 12-feet by 84-feet which will show scores and playbacks during matches.
Nolan Ryan, president of the Rangers, stated that the boards will prove popular with spectators.
“We feel that these upgrades to Rangers Ballpark will enhance the experience for our fans in 2009,” he said.
“That’s why we are introducing elements that provide more in-park information, greater seating options, and enhanced safety.”
It was recently revealed that stadiums in South Africa, which are due to host World Cup football matches in 2010, would be installing LED scoreboards in time for the competition
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
