New television incorporates LED lights
A newly-designed television display has been incorporated with an LED light source which removes the need for mercury in the device.
Created by Victor Company of Japan (JVC), the 32-inch screen measures just 7mm in depth.
The use of LED technology in the display means that future production of the device will not need to rely on mercury stocks.
Fewer materials are needed to construct the screen so its carbon footprint is likely to be smaller than those with thicker displays.
The devices are expected to be a hit in both homes and businesses due to its slimness and 5kg weight, which allows it to be transportable.
Consumers are also likely to appreciate the high definition images produced by the screen as well as the vast arrange of hues cast by the LED technology.
Both Phillips and Sony recently launched a television screen incorporated with LED backlights, which helps create sharper images.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
