New scoreboard for baseball arena
A US baseball team is set to receive a new LED scoreboard in time for the forthcoming competitive season.
The Tri-City Dust Devils, from Pasco, Washington, are removing an old scoreboard lit with incandescent lights in favour of one incorporating LED technology.
Spectators are likely to benefit from the new board as it is larger than its predecessors.
In addition, the LED board provides superior image quality allowing fans to see games unfold more clearly on the screens.
A digital clock will also feature on the display so visitors to the arena can keep track of time throughout the matches.
Garrett Flowers, the team’s assistant general manager for operations, stated that the new LED scoreboard will prove popular with spectators.
“We’re excited that this new addition will increase the entertainment value at Gesa Stadium and greatly improve our fans’ experience at the ballpark,” he said.
Elsewhere, baseball team the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, recently installed an LED board into its arena.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
