Natural History Museum LEDs
New LED Technology has been developed to enable the Natural History Museum to be it by LEDs.
Replacing the ageing metal halide lamps a white LED solution will be used to compliment the building, a colour facility is also built into the solution enabling events teams to wirelessly wash the building for corporate events, special dates etc.
The installation will reduce the electrical load by 75% and with 50,000 hour LEDs the museum expects modules to last 30 years under normal use, against the 3 year life of the existing halide units.
