Milton Keynes stadium gets long-awaited LED scoreboard
A football stadium in Buckinghamshire has finally unveiled its new LED scoreboard.
The venue, called stadium:mk, is home to the Milton Keynes Dons FC and opened in November 2007.
An LED screen was expected to be installed in the summer but the stadium only recently received it.
Now spectators can watch matches progress on the LED board which measure 40-square metres.
In addition, the display will function as a scoreboard in order to keep spectators updated during matches.
The board is expected to be fully functioning for the team’s game against Leeds United which is scheduled for this Saturday.
Fans are expected to be delighted with the location of the innovative screen which is at the venue’s north end.
A poll by Club Fanzine recently revealed that 92 per cent of the team’s supporters would prefer the new LED board to be placed at the North Stand.
This will allow fans of the home team to watch matches unfold on the screen.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
