Literacy campaign to use LED boards
LED boards are being used in a campaign to boost the reading abilities of Canadian children.
National Multimedia Campaign for Family Literacy Day has been launched by ABC Canada and marketing specialists zig.
The groups hope to increase reading among family members by displaying thought-provoking questions on LED boards that have been designed to spark families’ imaginations.
Martin Beauvais, executive creative director at zig, stated that the questions displayed on LED boards are helping to address literary concerns.
“Family Literacy Day tackles a very serious issue but we wanted the approach to be fun, light-hearted and engaging,” he said.
“We focused on posing the most intriguing questions possible that would appeal to both adults and children and encourage them to seek out the answers together.”
Adverts for the literacy day will appear in traditional forms such as newspapers and magazines in addition to digital billboards.
A variety of questions appear on the boards such as: how high do birds fly?
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
