LED signs have the “most growth potential”
Business is booming for a Canadian LED sign manufacturer due to the raise in awareness of the energy-saving technology.
John Florence, from Florence Signs and Graphics, Cambridge, reports a 30 per cent increase in income compared to the same period last year.
The company has recently installed LED signs for a host of clientele including medical centres and discount stores.
Mr Florence explained that businesses are increasingly likely to install the signs as they are becoming more aware of how the power-saving technology can cut bills.
LED boards need 55 per cent less energy to run than neon-based signs, which can lead to significant savings for companies.
“We think it has the most growth potential, and it’s what’s actually increased our bottom line,” said Mr Florence.
“Nowadays, people use LEDs [for everything] from Christmas tree lights to architectural lighting [to] taillights in cars.”
In other news, UK-based charity the Jennifer Trust recently used LED signs in order to raise awareness of spinal muscular atrophy.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
