LED screens used in talent show
A south-eastern European reality show has erected LED screens in order to boost viewer numbers.
Lighthouse Technologies has supplied television programme Operacija Trijumf, aired in Serbia, with four LED screens.
The show sees members of the public compete in a talent competition live on stage.
Now viewers can closely watch the performances of the contestants on the LED screens which are composed of boards 1.92-metres wide and 4.8-metres high.
The displays have been arranged to face the audience and a staircase so they make an impact on those watching.
Organiser of the show Aleksandar Miljus, from Emotion Production, explained that the screens will help boost viewer numbers.
He said: “The images are very bright and clear. It is the first series of Operacija Trijumf in Serbia so we need something to really deliver the goods and amaze the audience.”
“The R10 panels have achieved that and are also very reliable and straightforward to use.”
In other news, US band Fall Out Boy recently installed LED screens at a gig to enhance the audience experience of the show.
