‘Largest’ LED screen in the Middle East to be unveiled
The Middle East will see its biggest LED screen unveiled soon.
Called the Opulence, the screen was meant to be installed in September but shipping problems led to delays.
The LED board is located in Abu Dhabi’s Fotouh Al Khair shopping complex and is so big it can be seen from one kilometre away.
Measuring 28-metres by eight-metres, the Opulence is supplied by Synaxis Media & Advertising and has a curved screen which towers above two road crossings.
Up to 12 advertisements will be displayed on the screen with each image beamed for ten seconds.
Fahad Al Absi, managing director of the advertising company, told AME Info: “This is a monumental moment – not just for advertisers but for the citizens as well as it puts the Emirates on the map.
“Opulence is an apt name. Physically the screen’s pixels look like thousands and thousands of glittering gems.”
Dubai is currently constructing an LED screen that measures 100-metres in height.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
