Green bricks incorporate LED lights

The manufacturers of a newly-launched brick claim it is a green alternative to other kinds of construction material as it is made from recycled products and it can incorporate LED lights.

Called the Polli-Brick, it has been constructed by HYmini and can act as a replacement to traditional building materials.

The company explains that the cylindrical brick has been formed from used material, which has significantly reduced its carbon footprint.

In addition to the environmental benefits, the design has structural advantages as the shape ensures the Polli-Brick is durable and strong.

The bricks have been designed to lock together, meaning constructors can easily use them to create walls and fences.

Spaces within each brick can be used to install LED lights to create different moods within homes.

The firm stated that homeowners can use the recycled cylinders in a variety of home settings including patio roofs, skylights and gardens.

Also created by the firm is Solarbulb, which is a range of LED garden lights powered by the sun.
