Festival expands LED light display
LED lights are proving so popular in China a national exhibition has expanded to include more fixtures.
This year sees the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition return to the area for the 14th time and more LED lights will be showcased than ever before.
Figures published by LED Magazine reveal that sales of LED lights used for landscaping are expected to soar in China by 37 per cent in the next year.
The rising interest and demand for LED lighting is also reflected in the increasing numbers of visitors to the show.
In 2008, 48,000 people attended the event, which is a seven per cent increase compared with the previous year.
Lucia Wong, group trade fair manager from Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong, explained that more products will be shown at this year’s event.
She said: “We are including new product groups such as emergency lighting, solar power lights, crystal lights, incandescent lamps and discharge lamps.”
According to Digital Signage Today, an annual US show organised by the National Retail Federation has enlarged its LED screen display to 12-square-feet.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
