Charity uses LED-based screens for campaign

Charity uses LED-based screens for campaignA charity is raising awareness of a muscle-wasting disease with LED-based screens.

The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (JTSMA) has launched a new awareness campaign featuring former boxer Frank Bruno.

Sufferers of the condition lose strength in muscles when signals from the brain are interrupted and they lose the ability to control their limbs.

Bruno is currently appearing on 18 LED-based screens in cities throughout the UK in order to educate the public on the condition.

The former boxer reported that he is pleased to be involved with the LED screen campaign.

He said: “I’ve faced many challenges in my career, but nothing compared to those faced by people with SMA and their families.

“I’ve heard so much about the wonderful work that the Jennifer Trust does supporting families in difficult circumstances and I’m really pleased to be able to do something to help.”

According to Screens.tv, charity Find Our Children recently used LED screens to target runaway children in Russia in order to safely return them to their homes.

I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
