Airports get LED-based screens
Approximately 40 US airports will soon install LED-based screens in retail areas.
Danoo has teamed-up with Trofie to supply the LED technology to 150 US airports including those based in New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
Media network company Danoo currently supplies displays to food outlets but the new partnership with Trofie will see them installing screens in airports.
Retail areas in airports will soon receive screens which are hoped to increase advertising revenue.
Christine Crowley, chief executive of Trofie, told Digital Signage Today that the LED-based screens are expected to have a positive impact on the retail trade.
“Danoo’s success in reaching community influencers in local hotspots proved that its approach would work well with Trofie’s base of airport retailers,” she said.
“We believe that Danoo’s technology platform and programming expertise will deliver an outstanding experience for travellers, retail owners and advertisers.”
Up to 10,000 passengers a day are expected to view LED screens recently installed in India’s Hyderabad Airport.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
