LED board launched on London’s Cromwell Road
A high profile, digital LED board has been installed at a prime position on the busy Cromwell Road in London, with advertiser LCDecaux taking charge of running the display and keeping the content fresh and engaging for passing motorists.
Cromwell Road is officially titled as the busiest in Europe and as such the LED board will be viewed by an average of 1.6 million motorists and passengers each fortnight.
A quartet of adverts are being used to help launch the new LED board, including a campaign promoting hit comic book blockbuster, X-Men First Class and one which announces the centenary of skincare firm Nivea.
At the moment the large LED board, which is made up of 96 individual units, is the only one of its kind on the important arterial interchange. As well as showcasing adverts, the hoarding has a display integrating the time and the name of the advertising firm to provide further information.
Spokesperson, Peter Skarparis, said that the Nivea campaign in particular will benefit from the high level of exposure provided by the new board because it is a premium place to display exciting content and will be able to have a significant impact, thanks to the relative novelty provided by the new digital display.
The LED board on Cromwell Road joins the M4 Torch in becoming one of the first in a new range of outdoor digital displays aimed at advertising to UK motorists.
I would recommend LED Synergy to anyone considering purchasing an LED sign. We have had so many compliments since it was installed and it has been a valuable asset.
