Maximum power consumption represents the highest possible energy usage when the screen is displaying full brightness content, such as a completely white image.
Average power consumption reflects typical real-world usage and is usually 30–50% lower than the maximum rating, as most content contains darker colours and varying brightness levels.
LED Screen Brightness and Energy Use
Brightness is one of the biggest factors affecting power consumption in LED displays.
Higher brightness levels require the LEDs to operate at greater intensity, increasing electricity usage. Outdoor LED screens often run at higher brightness levels to remain visible in daylight.
